The Wall Street Journal’s Review! "A Chorus of Affection"

In the run-up to tonight’s national broadcast premiere, the Wall Street Journal has published a really great review of the film. The link is below but the access is subscriber-only. We’ll give you a taste of it here and, if you want to read more, contact us (info@robertshawthefilm.com) and we’ll tell you more about it.

“Doing its duty as an ‘American Masters’ presentation, ‘Robert Shaw - Man of Many Voices’ makes quite clear that Shaw was a master - most famously as a director of choral music, one who raised its standards, honed its performances and raised its status in the classical world. But he was also distinctly American, in the rustic, up-by-the-bootstraps sense: He shouldn’t have succeeded, but did.”
